Planner/Calendar entries on non-working days

I'm working part time this year and sometimes I am expected to be at the school on what would normally be a non-working day. I can't seem to figure out how to enter these dates. I can't get to the dates in the planner, and when I tried to enter them as events, they would disappear. I could change the other two days of the week to be working days and not configure them, but I really like the amount of text I can see in the planner when I'm only showing the three days that are working days. Is there any other way to solve this problem?

I'm afraid there isn't an alternative to changing the working days. That setting must be the same for all weeks and they will necesseraly appear in the planner
