Grade boundaries

Hi all

I'm very new to iDoceo so please be gentle!

I'm in the process of setting up my mark book and need a numerical grade which equates to a letter, eg 12 = C, 14 = B, etc. for my GCSE coursework totals.

In some columns, for the exam results, I have used numerical grades so I can see the breakdown, but for the calculation column I need the average to be a converted letter grade. Any ideas?

You should first obtain your calculation's result as a numerical grade, to make sure everything is ok and the results are what you need.

I'm not sure if you did this already but in case you are calculating an average, the steps are explained in this link.

Make sure you select 'From 0 to 100' in the grade type for that calculation (double tap on the column's header > Grade type > From 0 to 100)

Once you have the right result on that column, you only need to change the grade type of that particular calculation to reflect the result as letters.
Since your grade type does not exist yet, you will have to create it with the steps explained here .

Now, back to the gradebook, double tap on the calculation's header > Grade type > and select here the grade type you have just created in the previous step.
