Hello all,
I have 2 queries in the grade system.
I was wondering how many grades you have set up altogether... I seem to be creating a lot of numerical grades which makes it feel very crowded. Is there a way to limit this?
Also I assess writing, speaking and listening and reading (modern language) which all have different grade boundaries. For writing and speaking, so I can feed back a grade to my students, I had to do some strange calculation last year, whereby I had halved the grades to give results for each speaking and once they have done more, I need to choose the best 2 to be marked externally.
is there a calculation I could use to do the sum of all 3 whilst removing the worst mark?

Hello Emilie,
In short, since you have to choose the best 2, you need to add 2 columns with this 'calculation - condition'
The first column will pick the best mark, and the second will choose the 2nd best mark.
You will then be able to do the sum or average with the 2 new columns.
Here is a very detailed article about this, in the example we work with 6 quizzes and we drop 2

We will try to offer a better solution for those numerical grades that have no rounding, colours or icons so that it does not need what we call a 'grade'.was wondering how many grades you have set up altogether... Yes, we have that calculation. If you'd like to give it a try, it is called 'Calculation - condition', enable it frist from the Settings (on the ruler) > Editors.is there a calculation I could use to do the sum of all 3 whilst removing the worst mark?
