In this example will see how to add a penalty (or bonus) column to an average result

All these columns have the default grade type set (Generic numeric grade type) because all its values have the same meaning, in our example from 0 to 10. If your grades are from 0 to 100 or 0 to 20, or any other combination, the same instruction apply.
We'll add a new column , and we'll call it penalty , colored in 'reddish'.
And now will edit our average column calculuations so that it takes into account our new penalty column, it should be configured like this:
To avoid iDoceo to change automatically the weight of every column , you must edit each column's weight with the value you need.
And it is done! We'll add a couple of penalty (or positive for bonus) grades so you see how it looks in our example:
