I there, I am struggling. I have set up my classes & calendar and am using my planner but now would like to change my mark books to a version which I have downloaded (which I have saved under my classes) - whereby the markbook has a calculation included to give an average test and change colour vs a target grade. How do I change a markbook that is already ongoing?

Also...

Is it possible to make a change to my schedule and have it change in my planner without having to go through and rest all of my week 1 and week 2 info???

Hello Sslater,
You can copy a particular tab (tap&hold on tab > Copy > Destination) from your source class to the ongoing mark books. However, some calculations configurations may not be transferred as they were.
In this version 3.1 there is now a specific calculation to compare an average vs its target and it is a lot easier than it was before. You will find here some additional details and an example
Regarding the changes in your schedule, I'm afraid you will have to change your Week 1 and 2 and then replicate those weeks for the rest of the term.

Hi Bert, I emailed you last week about help with sorting out my markbooks, but can't seem to find the feed now... are you still ok to do this? Is there a way of me sharing with you my current book so that you can fiddle about with it? There's no personal data in here so is fine for you to use it directly and it would save me having to go through it and input all the data I currently have manually.

I need to make the below changes to the following classes in my idoceo please… 10S3, 11P3, 12 1NB, 9P4, 9S3, 11S2, 12 4SN, 7P5
Each student currently has their fine target grade saved in a column as GST (e.g A1 being high and A3 being a low A) I would like this target grade to show up on their photographs in the seating plans please (and also prominently in the markbook) I would also like to use the markbook to show their achieved grades against this grade as below…
Could you please set it up so that each piece of work entered has 2 columns – 1 for the original percentage achieved and the next for improvements to the same piece (both of which should change colour against their target grade – turning blue for achieved over, green for achieved, yellow for 1 under and red for 2 grades under) I will be entering percentages so it will need to calculate these to fine grades A1s, B2s, C3s and so on. With 10% being equal to 1 full grade 90% + = A*, 80% = A, 70 = B and so on. We work on 80 – 83% as an A3, 84 – 86% being A2, and anything between 87 – 89 being an A1. If this makes sense? So a 63% would be a C3.
I’d also like to have a final column which calculates their average level achieved on their first attempt and also one for their second attempt – again changing colour so that I can see if they have achieved/improved etc.
Every now and then I will need to add a column which is graded differently (1-5) for homework task effort. Again is it possible for these to change colour? 1 being red, 2 yellow, 3 green, 4 blue & 5 purple. These columns should not being included in the final averages.

Also, Is there a way of setting up a lesson plan skeleton in the lessons on the planner? If so please let me know as I would like to be able to plan my lessons a little more thoroughly within the package.

Hi bert, thanks. I understand completely. We are due OFSTED with the week though so I'd really appreciate if if you could put this on the top of your priority list as soon as you are done with your updates.

Hello Sarah,
Send me that gradebook configuration when you have a chance.
From the particular class you want to work with: tap on Export > Share > Include all tabs and make sure the 'No students' options is checked.

Regarding the planner skeleton, I'm afraid do not have that option yet.
In the seating plan you will be able to show a selection of 5 columns from the grade book with the options explained here , we call it badge mode and it was specially developed with those OFSTED requirements in mind.
