TOPIC: Wish List - Planner

Wish List - Planner 6 years 3 months ago #4551

Please can we have the ability to structure the planner. E.g.

Collect Homework:
Set Homework: Homework Due:

If setting a homework deadline could somehow be linked to the lesson when it is due that would be fantastic, although I do realise that is a big ask.

At the moment, I don't really use the planner facility because it would involve typing the standard lesson structure repeatedly. I appreciate that others will have a different structure so I suppose the best option would be if there was some means of individuals setting their own. Is this feasible?

Many thanks.

Hello Bette Noire,
Yes, we have those suggestions in our to-dos, both the template/structure for the planner and some sort of homework scheduling.
We'll try to have them ready by iDoceo 3.5, it will take some time, but we'll get there.
Please take a moment to add or update your rating for iDoceo 7 teacher gradebook so that we can continue working on it. Thanks!

I've been thinking about this too... Would it be possible to make a future update TextExpander friendly? That would make it easier (for me, anyway ;) ) to write my plans in the diary/agenda in a more streamlined/standardized fashion.

While I keep my fingers crossed for the above request (or a different solution), I sometimes use simple lesson plan canvases that I've prepared, and I just copy and paste them into the diary and then fill in the "blanks"... It's not elegant, but it works for me. :)

Thank you again for creating iDoceo, Bert. It's helped me enormously this year to stay better organized and on top of my work.
