Link student info

Hello,

If I change a student's info in 1 class it does not change for the same student in other classes. This means a lot of extra work to adjust everything. I've tried copying a student who's info I've changed, which is better than filling in the same data x times, but still means adjusting the seating plan and the students position in the grade book.
Is there any way student info can be linked across several classes?
