Comparison - colours set? was created by Emilie
Hi Bert,

I've created a column where I can compare 2 others. It works well and gives me correct results which is great as I don't have to think about it in terms of which columns I need to use as A and which is B.
The only little thing is in the colours of the box. I can't seem to change them even though I have set different colours to them in my grade type. Is there a preset for this function?

Thank you for your help.

Emilie

Hello Emilie,
Yes, the comparison function works with a predefined set of colours: Green (above), Amber(Equal) and red (Below). Do you have a particular combination in mind?
I'm not sure if we will be able to add this as an option in the future but let me know what you would like to see instead

Thank you for your quick reply.

I had set mine as green for 'good' and blue for 'bad', but I also like the traffic light system, though the orange is a little dark for me ;)

I had in my grade comparison:
++ for 2 grades above prediction in bright green
+ for 1 grade above in light green
0 for same grade in white
- for 1 grade below in light blue
- - for 2 grades or more in blue

Hello again,

I have just found that I can have my colour set up when I change the option in setting to have arrows instead of the traffic light colours.

Settings > options > show colours when comparing columns --> switched off

This allows me to have my own colour set as well as the arrows ;)
