Got it. This is scheduled for a future release.
The only problem for the moment are the differences between each
country's grading systems (A-F , 1-10, 1-200, 6-1 , and so on).
But we'll have it!

Thank you for your comments

In Italy the range is from 1 to 10, in lower school is from 4 to 10.

Hi,
We'll be preparing report features on a future release, if anyone has any sample reports for their school (with names erased please!) that would like to share, please send them to bert@idoceo.net
Proper reporting requires some level of configuration and having an image of what you expect in each country/school will really help a lot.

Thanks

Hi
I am an Australian Primary Teacher.
I have just purchased this App because it looks so beautiful but without a calculation column (summary report) for each subject a student takes it is impossible to use.
Last year I used the Grade Pro App which automatically totals and summarizes but is boring and complicated with having to flick between data screens.
I thought I had found the perfect solution in Idoceo but without a column that totals and gives an average it makes the app a bit powerless.
I would be prepared to pay an additional cost for a summary column.
Please can you not just create a universal summary by percentage???
Then later add grades. At least give some form of summary.

Hi Sylvia,
We're working on it already for our next release. It is taking some time,
but you'll have summary columns and some minor calculations.
There will be no additional fee in the upgrade, that's for sure.
Thanks for contacting and letting us know your requirements!
We'll keep our progress posted so you all can take a peek at it before publishing.

Hi Sylvia,
It is scheduled for next month, we try not to rush new versions, as it has to
pass a certain beta testing time before publishing.
About a week before release you'll see the announcement in the forum.
Thank you

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to keep you posted on the progress of the new calculations available on iDoceo's v1.3.
The results look promising so far. I've just uploaded a couple of small samples for you to have a quick look.
iDoceo will be ready for what we'll call universal grading system, allowing to calculate different kinds of grading systems (A to F , 6 to 1, 1-10) and they will all be configurable, so you could create your own class grade names.
We've tried to keep the configuration simple but powerful enough to fullfil all usual calculation needs but without being a spreadsheet like excel.
If you have some special calculations which you're not sure will be able to be done, please post them here so we can review its on time before release.
For the moment you'll be able to:
Create calculations with several columns and set its weight
Link calculation columns results to other calculation columns and set its weight
Calculate averages of different kind of grades (e.g. columns from 0-10 with columns from A-F)
Change the weight of text based grades (e.g. A=92 or A=95) for each column or class

Here's a small sample (not too large so not to spoil the final result looks)
