Setting up schedule was created by StephNGa
I'm new to the iDoceo app but I was intrigued by many of the reviews from elementary specials teachers. They shared that they were able to setup multiple classes in a class period. Each of my classes have two home rooms but they alternate (ie. Mondays 5A and 5B; Tuesday 5A and 5C, etc.) Each time I add a class to the schedule, it deletes the prior class even though I select ADD not EDIT. Your assistance would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
StephNGa :cheer:

Welcome to iDoceo StephNGa,
In the current version, there can only be one class per period. I'm not sure if we'll be able to improve that in the future, but noted.

Hi I have an interest in this too. I have set up my periods and then inside that period I have sometimes two classes.

I have got around this by setting multiple periods and times and add the classes twice into the following time slots - it actually visually looks Ok but maybe a future thought.

EG - period one is maths and only has one group of Students - but on some days - I have two and three different groups of kids come in and out of period one. Thus what I really need is to control the period times on different days. on Monday 9-10 is one period. On Tuesday period one goes from 9- 9.30 0nly.

Hey guys
Trying to work out how to best set up my schedule and planner. I'm a primary (elementary) school teacher and have the same kids all day but different classes. When I add "class" to my schedule it is obviously the same throughout the day, but I sort of need a sub-class so it comes up as Class, <subject>. I discovered when I have the same class scheduled throughout the day, if I edit the class in planner for period one, it changes all the other periods as a copy of that. Am I missing something here? Or do primary teachers usually set up multiples classes with the same students? I.e. Grade 1- maths, Grade 1- literacy etc.
Thanks for your help!
Georgie
