Locking seating plans

Locking seating plans was created by Smiffy
Hi, is it possible to lock seating plans so that no students can be moved at all? I have set up plans to a background image and now that they are complete can I lock the plan for that class through settings so that I then cannot scroll or move anything around until I intentionally unlock again? (a bit like locking the gradebook columns)
