Is it possible to have a column that automatically records the level a student is on for an activity. And have it transfer to another page/grade book? I.e. From a list of levels already recorded (+1-+12, -1- -12) the current one automatically listed in another column e.g. Stu 1 is on +4, stu2 is on -6 , linked to other pages

Hello aussie_rover89,

You can show the same column in different tabs at the same time. We call that a linked column

Tap&hold on the column's header > Copy > Select the target tab > Linked column
More details about this here

A linked column can be created from conventional columns or calculations. Additionally, there is a particular calculation called 'Comparison' which would compare a level with its target, I'm not sure if you need something like that

Linking the columns is part of it so that helps but the other part is my students have different levels of their maths program 48levels to be precise and I record when they go up a level so I can see how quickly they are learning the new concepts etc or if they have been stuck on a level for longer then normal for them. So I'm after a column that would list their current level without me having to slide across each time to see each record for each student. Can this be done or do I just have to update the level column once they go up a level?

Also wondering if you can lock a columns position like the student list so it stays while the other columns move across?
