Is it possible to drop a student from a class part way through a term without losing their previous data?

Hi RB,
Each class has its own unique columns and configuration , and while you can move/copy a student to a different class, their grades will only be kept in the original class. Their personal data will be copied though, but I guess you're referring to transferring general assessment&grades altogether

Thanks Bert,
We transfer some students to other sets during the year. I want to drop these pupils from future attendance registers without losing the old data. If I delete a pupil from my second tab they disappear from the first tab as well. Is there any way to prevent this?

Hi RB,
It is not possible at the moment, but I see now the point. I've just added the request for our next update (after 2.5). We'll try to add some sort of show/hide option for students in each tab, so that you can accomplish a 'sort of' transfer without deleting data . We tend to think that deleting data is always a bad idea if you can hide it and obtain the same resutls.
Our next update is almost ready and I'm sure you'll love the new features!
