I think picnic is great....

If you don't know it, please try it and then think about the wide range of options it will give you if it is fully implemented into idoceo which it is not at the moment.

Bert mentioned to me that the current bulletin board in idoceo did not have the succes they have hoped it would have.. I replied that this may have to do with the current restrictions: 1 board just does not have enough space to put everything there to prepare for your lessons.. it has enough space to prepare for a couple of lessons but with notes on the side it can quickly become filled up.

But pinnic doesn't restrict you at all, because it is a bulletin board on which you can also put folders and even better subboards.... So if I want to prepare for teaching about Forces and Movement then I can prepare a subboard for that on the mainboard and in this subboard i can prepare other subboards for subjects like velocity, acceleration, drawing forces, collisions, laws of newton, impulses etc etc etc...

In short: pinnigs provide you with the option to prepare a whole year of lessons just by prearranging all the pictures, files, videos, links, tests etc in different folders or subboards..
Once there you can easily link to them in your planner.

I really do hope that you all will look into this and like me will reconsider the usefulness of bulletins boards and start thinking about the wide range of options it will be able to give to you if the restrictions it has now are taken away.

Hello Gertjan,

I've only used the in-app bulletin board a little bit (mainly because of lack of time to "explore" it during the school year). I've also glanced a few times at Pinnic, but again, no time to really try it out during the school year. I appreciate you explaining how you use Pinnic. I think that I will look at it again and see how I could use it too.
