iDoceo crashing when I try to import CSV files (solved)

Hi,

I am trying to import CSV files to iDoceo from Dropbox but when I select the "Open in iDoceo" option iDoceo opens and then crashes and closes. When I open it again, nothing has been imported.

I am using iOS6 on my update - not sure if this is an issue?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Sophie

Hi Sophie,
iOS 6 shouldn't be an issue.

The problem is usually due to the CSV having some very large text (or a / character) in the very first column where student names are supposed to be . Maybe an addendum at the end of the CSV or some explanation in the header...
If you still can't solve it please let us know and we'll give it another thought!

Thanks Bert. There was some data in the CSV file that I hadn't noticed, so I deleted it, re-saved the file and uploaded it to Dropbox to try again. Sadly, it's still not working :( Anything else I can try?

Hi Sophie,
If you don't have any inconvenient, you can send a CSV file of what you're trying to import to support@idoceo.net and I'll give it a look immediately.
