Configuring the school year was created by janinesensei
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm just starting, and getting very confused! Our new school year in Australia starts this week, so I'm trying to get set up ready to go.

I have created my classes (all 17 of them!), created lines on the schedule to match our school timetable, and added the classes to the schedule for Week 1. I am trying to set up the calendar, so that the schedule (I would actually call it a timetable) is repeated through out the year.

My question is, how do I set up school term dates, so that the schedule/planner knows when the holidays are? I can see how to add an individual holiday eg Labour Day, but how do I add the holidays at the end of each term (a two-week break)?

I used the automatic copy function in the calendar to copy the first week so that my schedule is showing up correctly until the end of first term, but how do I make the schedule start again at the beginning of Term 2?

I hope that makes sense?

Welcome Janine,
You almost have it. I'd recommend a quick backup before proceeding in case something goes wrong with the copy. From the main screen, tap on Backup, Quick backup an wait for the 'Backup completed' message to appear.

The automatic copy can be configured to start/end at given dates. You should select your week 1 and then on 'Automatic copy' , tap on From , select the first date of your Term 2 and then copy.
Find below a couple of screenshots

Our next version will improve this automatic copy and will make these steps more intuitive.

Make sure you are in WEEK mode, the screenshots are for another kind of copy.

Once the calendar is set. You can add those holidays manually, tap on HOLIDAYS mode and on the left hand side calendar select the days you'd like to mark as holidays
